Mr. Antell is an associate with the firm. He concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of wage and hour collective actions, executive compensation, and construction. Mr. Antell also serves an integral role in the firm's complex litigation practice. Mr. Antell comes to the firm with a wealth of perspective from his experience in the insurance/risk industry having worked in Manhattan at AIG’s international headquarters for several years. That experience has proven invaluable in assisting our clients in litigation and in anticipation of litigation.

    Representative Engagements:

    • Mr. Antell has served as counsel in several successful collective or multi-plaintiff actions brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).  Such actions have resolved confidentially and generally involve the improper withholding of overtime and/or minimum wage compensation from a group of employees.
    • Mr. Antell has represented numerous high level executives from public and private companies as they negotiate disputed terms of departure.  From time to time, these representations have led to litigation or arbitration where an employer or third party has refused to honor the terms of an employee or executive contract.
    • In the construction arena, Mr. Antell often represents contractors and project owners in disputes.  In one such representation, Mr. Antell successfully defended a second-tier subcontractor facing liability following a fire causing more than $10 million dollars in damage to the project.  Mr. Antell currently serves as an elected board member of the Builder's Exchange Association of Virginia.
